Herman Cain Endorsing Newt Gingrich is an Omen

This is an omen that the Gingrich's ship will be sinking soon.

Great. Just put me out of my misery while you're at it. While we were all enjoying our weekend activities, Herman Cain decided to grace us with his newsworthy presence and announces his endorsement of Newt Gingrich. As if the rabbit hole couldn't get any more ridiculous and annoying.

Mr. Cain, the former CEO of Godfather’s pizza and one-time front-runner of the republican nomination race, had his shine a while ago but put a halt to his progress and withdrew from the nomination race amid allegations regarding his infidelity.  Actually, I wonder how that’s working out for him.

It’s not for certain whether or not Mr. Gingrich was happy about the endorsement or not. But lets be serious. Why on earth would the Gingrich campaign staff like this to happen? I understand that Mr. Gingrich and Mr. Cain have a lot in common…if you know what I mean, but you can’t think people are that stupid. At least not  people in Florida (I hope).

With just a couple days from the Florida Primary, this endorsement probably means close to nothing to helping Mr. Gingrich take the state. That is not to say he won’t but according to the most recent polls, Mr. Gingrich is still behind Mitt Romney

In a statement to FOX News, Mr. Cain said this: (Gingrich) is a great candidate. He has a lot of positive attributes. I’m not against Mitt Romney if Mitt Romney gets the nomination, I’m gonna support him. But right now, I’m hoping Newt Gingrich gets the nomination and I’m going to work, and try to see to it that he gets the nomination.

As silly as the nomination sounds, I thinks it’s only befitting we list the three things Newt Gingrich has in common with Herman Cain. It’s only right.

1. They’re both republican. That’s important.

2. Nobody of sound mind actually thinks either one will make a good president.

3. They’ve both been accused of infidelity and being shiesty with money.

I think they’re a perfect fit. Good for them.
