3 Kids Watch in Horror as Dad Shoots Mother Dead in Car

Kids watched in horror from backseat as mother was murdered.

A Kansas City man may have committed the most heinous crime anyone in this world can.

Jedidah Alexander, 25, shot his young 24-year-old wife, Alyshia, dead in a car. The worst part about this crime aside from the tragic killing? Jedidah killed his wife while his three young boys were in the backseat watching the murder unfold.

The children, ages 3, 2 and 1, were found in the backseat of the car crying with blood splattered on their clothing and bodies. The children were unharmed.

Alyshia's mother, Bridget Mitchell, recalled her grandson Jedidah (named after his father) saying "Daddy shot mommy." She is concerned for the kids' future as she worries they may remember this tragic event.

But this was no random incident as the couple had troubles in the past, and it seems Alyshia's insistence on a divorce may have pushed him over the edge.

Last year, Jedidah was arrested for domestic assault when police were called to the home. The couple recently separated and Alyshia had an order of protection against Jedidah.

We wish these children all the best in the future. This was a gut-wrenching crime and we hope the children's grandmother can raise these three kids to be honest and respectful young men.
