Like so many celebrity couples before them, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are expressing their (questionable) love for one another via lettering.

On the song "Free Spirit," Drake famously demanded his lover to "tat my name on you so I know it's real," and we've seen Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose follow suit (inking each other's nicknames on their hands), as have Nas and Jermaine Dupri (who went as far as putting the faces of their now-exes on their bodies).

Jay-Z and Beyonce each have the roman numeral IV on their ring fingers to commemorate their lucky number as a couple.

Luckily, Kim Kardashian isn't as dumb as she appears; instead of going under the permanent gun, she decided to temporarily wear earrings boasting Kanye West's initials on them. (Is this public display of affection in return for his admitting that he's in love with her on his new song "Theraflu"?]
