$3.6 Million Worth of Weed Found Floating on Cali Coast
No one's claiming it
Someone messed up.
Nearly 8,000 pounds of marijuana were found floating off the coast of Orange County, California yesterday, according to MSNBC.
Maritime law enforcement authorities say a tip from a boater, about "suspicious" bales, led them to find over 150 packages of the drug, just south of Los Angeles.

Totaling out at 7,263 pounds, with a worth of almost $3.6 million, border patrol agent supervisor Michael Jimenez noted how uncommon the incident was, saying:
"At other events, they've dumped the bales to get rid of weight if they're being chased. Generally, in these cases, we're aware they're being dumped. What's more unusual is that the bales were floating with no boat in sight."
Looks like someone forgot to finish their task at hand - which, considering the habit, isn't unlikely.
