Afghan Woman Executed for Adultery on Cell Phone Video

Men nearby cheer as woman is shot several times at point blank range

Government officials in Afghanistan and NATO commanders on the ground are condemning cell phone video that shows a Taliban fighter executing a woman accused of adultery.

The fighter discharges repeated shots to the back of her head, as his supporters and villagers watch. Some of them are heard cheering.
