Allen Iverson Files Lawsuit To Stop Atlanta Home Foreclosure

Former NBA star claims wife is to blame.

Former NBA star Allen Iverson has filed a lawsuit hoping to prevent to foreclosure of his home in Atlanta.

TMZ reports that the $4.5 million home was set to go on the auction block on December 4 after he reportedly defaulted on a $1.4 million loan. But Iverson filed paperwork against the lender trying to seize the home, claiming he never consented to the loan. He says that it was his estranged wife who signed the mortgage in an attempt to get back at him as they go through a nasty divorce. 

The legal move was made for Iverson to buy more time to find money to pay off the loan, but it does not guarantee that he will keep the home.
