In Republican’s household, Obama’s win brought on woman’s despair
An Arizona woman, apparently upset over the re-election of President Barack Obama, ran down her husband with the family car near Phoenix on Saturday because he did not vote on Election Day, police said Monday. Holly Solomon, 28, chased and pinned her husband Daniel Solomon underneath the vehicle. Daniel Solomon, 36, was in critical condition but was expected to survive, a police spokesman said. Holly Solomon was arrested, charged with aggravated assault and is being held in jail. Her husband told police his wife was angry over his “lack of voter participation” and believed the family would face hardship during Obama’s second term. (Reuters)
