Atlanta 13-Year-Old Killed by Police in Robbery Attempt
Police say he "appeared to have a weapon"
A community just south of Atlanta is frazzled by news that a 13-year-old boy was shot and killed by police during a robbery attempt.
Trevion Davis of Jonesboro was shot in the head by Clayton County police officers last Wednesday after he was caught with others trying to burglarize a home.
Officers claim that Davis "appeared to have" a gun which forced them to open fire.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into the matter to see exactly what happened.

One of Davis' accomplices, 18-year-old Jamar Odom could be charged with murder just for his involvement in an event that led to Davis' killing. He is currently in jail on $25,000 bail.
Mildred Williams, the woman who lives in the home that allegedly was being burglarized, is sad over the whole ordeal.
"I would have rather he cleaned my house and take everything than for somebody's child to be laying back there dead," she says.
