James "Red" Mozie convicted of multiple child sex trafficking charges.
35-year old James "Red" Mozie made a living running a brothel called the "Boom Boom Room" where he'd pimp out young girls. Now, he will spend the rest of his life in another type of "boom boom room."
On Monday, Mozie was convicted of eight counts of child sex trafficking, one count of conspiring to commit child sex trafficking and one count of producing child pornography by taking cell phone photos of an under-age girl. He was sentenced to life in prison.

Mozie's "Boom Boom Room" was located in Miami and was ran like something out of a movie.
To signal when he was open for business, Mozie would turn on a green porch light and send texts alerting people to come by for one of his "parties" or "fish frys." Once there, customers were greeted by barely dressed teens who would dance in the living room area. If the customers wanted sex, they had to pay $50 to enter the "Boom Boom Room." Once the money changed hands, the customer was given the girl, a condom and an egg timer set to go off after 30 minutes.
Mozie, his wife (who is already doing time in a Tallahassee prison) and other family members would recruit young girls between the ages of 13 and 17 off the street, telling them he could help them start a career in modeling. Once they were recruited into the fold they became dancers and sex workers for Mozie. But not before they went through "orientation" or a "testing of merchandise" where Mozie would have sex with them himself. Mozie's wife acted as a "house mother" for the young girls and even watched as some of them had sex with him.
The "Boom Boom Room" was busted when a tip was sent to Crime Stoppers and neighbors and business owners complained about what they saw.
During his sentencing, Mozie gave a 23-minute speech to the judge claiming that his rights had been violated, calling the entire process a witch hunt. He also mouthed "it's OK" to family members in the courtroom after he learned of his sentence.
Prior to this, Mozie had a criminal record including armed robbery, possession of a gun by a felon, and drug charges.
