Hundreds gathered yesterday in Linden, New Jersey to hold a vigil for slain former cheerleader Amber Wilson, according to NJ.com.
The 18-year-old girl was fatally shot late Monday evening during an apparent robbery.
Wilson had just graduated high school a month ago and had plans to enter law enforcement, her family told NJ.com.
Students, school officials, community and family members cried and lit candles reminiscing about Wilson through their pain.

"She was always there for you. She was always smiling," said Dekira Overton, 17, who graduated with Wilson and attended the vigil, to NJ.com.
"We were talking about our future," Overton said.
She was reportedly with a friend at the time of her murder.
A reward of $5,000 has been created for any information leading to an arrest and indictment in Wilson’s slaying.
