Investigators linked his IP address to child porn site

A Bronx man named Joshua Conde is sitting behind bars after an investigation linked his computer's IP address to a child pornography file sharing site. While that in and of itself is crime, that's not what has the community in arms. 

This man was also a teacher at a day care facility.

Conde was a part-time employee at the Bronx House, where he worked in the "homework room." On a daily basis, Conde and three to four other employees were around as many as 250 children ranging from kindergarten through fifth grade.

Bronx House Executive Director Howard Martin says that they ran a fingerprint background check on Conde and no issues appeared. They also said there was no evidence that any children under Conde's watch were exposed to any inappropriate material.

Conde's attourney says that his client has pleaded not guilty and looks forward to fighting the charges in court.
