He also blamed the black officers for leaks to the press.
According to TheGrio's Joy-Ann Reid, the lead detective in the George Zimmerman case blamed black officers for leaks and for pressuring him to file charges.
Investigator Chris Serino, who was in charge of investigating the death of 17-year-old, unarmed African American teenager Trayvon Martin, saw the department and community of Sanford split along racial lines after the controversial shooting death.
In the FBI report, Serino told a FBI investigator that 5 black offices were responsible for leaks to the press, along with a few others who weren't African Americans.
Serino also mentioned in the report how he felt the black Sanford community would be in an "uproar" if charges weren't filed against Zimmerman.
In the interviews, he also mentioned that he didn't believe the shooting was racially motivated, but just a man "shooting an unarmed kid."
Sources told TheGrio that several black officers denied leaking information to the press.
