C’Mon Son: Young Adults Shooting Each Other Over Shoulder Bumps

Lone Star College shooting was apparently over campus visitor’s impoliteness

You’ve probably heard about the shooting at a Houston-area community college earlier this week. Would you believe that whole thing allegedly erupted because two young men shoulder bumped each other? Police arrested Carlton Berry, 22, and charged him with aggravated assault on the day of the shooting. Trey Foster, 22, has not been arrested but was identified as a second suspect in a probable cause affidavit. There is a third unnamed suspect, who is alleged to have bumped into Foster before the argument and gunfight ensued. Three people were injured, including a campus maintenance worker caught in the crossfire. Have we stopped teaching our young men to say "excuse me" and to avoid unnecessary confrontation?
