Obama wanted him stay.
Attorney General Eric Holder is staying for an unspecified amount of time in President Obama's second term.
Its being reported that President Obama requested that Holder stay in efforts to prevent a mass exodus of federal officials during the first year of his second term. Fox News says that Holder may stay for "about a year."
Holder's time as AG has made for plenty of news headlines. He was held in contempt by Congress, for his alleged involvement in the failed ATF "Fast and Furious" gun program that led to the shooting death of an agent at the U.S./Mexico border. He was later cleared of any wrong doing.
