Exclusive First Look at '25 to Life' Trailer

Last week we told you William Brawner's Story. Now watch it.
Last week in honor of World Aids Day we chronicled "25 to LIFE." The story of William Brawner struck a chord with our readers. The national day of consciousness centers largely on more abstract ideals, i.e. numbers of new infections, new trends in medicine and where and how to get tested.
Rarely are we exposed to stories such as William Brawner’s.
Due to advances in medicine, HIV-AIDS is no longer a death sentence. What remains as a barrier is the stigma attached to those infected. Far too many people with HIV do not know it. Others who know simply do not seek treatment. Collectively framing a conversation around the issues of sex, intimacy and relationships is of the utmost importance if we are to eradicate this disease in the 21st century.
This is why we support 25 to LIFE.
The film presents a compelling story that is as tragic and disturbing as it is enlightening and inspiring. Some have sought to make Brawner into a caricature and even a criminal. No one, not even William, can defend his actions. Not sharing your status with your partners is dangerous and wrong. And yet, such reaction only illuminates the deficiencies in our ability to use the circumstances of Brawner's life to advance the discourse.
25 to LIFE is a film that will help to decrease the spread of HIV-AIDS and will change -- and challenge -- lives. If you believe in its potential, Loop 21 encourages you to become a supporter. The film needs additional funding to push it over the finish line.
Brawner's story needs to be shared. You can help. Go to www.25tolifefilmsite.com and click on DONATE.
