Cars and groceries top the list.
If your New Year's Resolution was to save more money in 2013, you may have a hard time doing it.
NBC's Today show revealed a list of items that are expected to get more expensive in 2013.
Among them are something that everybody needs, groceries.
"Prices are set to rise 3 to 4 percent overall thanks to last year's big drought, which led to a grass- and corn-feed shortage," says TODAY financial editor Jean Chatzky. "That resulted in higher prices for beef, poultry and grain-related products."
Cars, health care and tuition for state universities are also expected to rise.
