Attorneys estimate the trial will last three weeks

Those awaiting swift justice in the Trayvon Martin case will have to eight months more months. On Wednesday morning, Florida Circuit Judge Debra Nelson set second degree murder defendant George Zimmerman’s trial date for June 10. Attorneys in the case estimate the trial will last for three week. Zimmerman, 29, is accused of murdering Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old, in Sanford on Feb. 26. The case sparked weeks of civil rights rallies across the country. (Orlando Sentinel)
