Judge's husband posed conflict of interest
On Friday April 13 Loop 21 reported that Judge Jessica Recksiedler, presiding over the Trayvon Martin case, could be asked to step down due to a conflict of interest brought on by her husband who is partners with well known lawyer Mark NeJame. NeJame has been hired to do legal analysis of the case for CNN.

George Zimmerman's attorney Mark O'Mara just sped up the process by officially filing papers asking that Recksiedler be removed.
O'Mara previously stated, “I’m very very concerned that this is going to be problematic moving forward."
Recksidler responded, "If you choose to file a motion to disqualify me as judge it has to be in writing.”
She got her wish.
