Getting Wet: $100 Million PCP Bust In Los Angeles

Apparently someone is still using Angel Dust
Looks like PCP is back in style.
LA Weekly reports that the Los Angeles Interagency Metropolitan Police Apprehension Crime Task Force (L.A. IMPACT) just hit a $100 million PCP bust. According to reports, agents found 130 gallons of the drug as well as $389,000 in cash.
While the drug, also known as Angel Dust, has waned in popularity since the 80's it has made pop culture appearances in films such as Friday and Training Day (Alonzo slipped his new partner Jake some). Word on the street is that it is becoming the new "it" drug among the hipster crowd.
Reports say that the busted dealers had intentions on making at least another 500 gallons before they got busted. The batch that was seized was on its way to Texas.
Maybe, Gil Scott Heron's tale of dust heads can get folks on the straight and narrow.
