A Florida judge has approved the adoption of a 22-month-old girl that will list three people as parents on her birth certificate. Lesbian couple Maria Italiano and Cher Filippazzo will be listed, as well as Italiano's hair dresser and the couple's sperm donor Massimiliano Gerina, the child's biological father. Under Florida law, sperm donors have no legal rights to children, but this decision marks an unusual alteration.
