Judge in Trayvon Martin Case May Step Down Due to Conflict

Husband of judge was hired by CNN to do legal analysis of case
The judge who has been appointed to the upcoming Trayvon Martin murder trial may leave due to a conflict of interest.
Judge Jessica Recksiedler said her husband is a partner at the law firm of well-known area lawyer Mark Nejame. Nejame was hired by CNN to provide analysis on the case.
“I’m very very concerned that this is going to be problematic moving forward," Zimmerman's defense attorney Mark O'Mara said on a conference call.
"If you choose to file a motion to disqualify me as judge it has to be in writing,” Recksiedler responded.
Neither the prosecutor or George Zimmerman's attorney, Mark O'Mara, have moved to disqualify her.
Her husband is also connected to O'Mara as they both provided legal commentary on television on the Casey Anthony trial. Nejame's firm also reportedly recommended O'Mara to Zimmerman.
