Loop 21 columnist dons hoodie in support of Martin
Loop 21 Columnist Keli Goff spoke about the Trayvon Martin case for her Keli's Comment segment on MSNBC today.
Goff, who wrote a piece last year titled "Is Racism Worst in the Age of Obama?," spoke about racial profiling in America in the segment while wearing a hoodie in support of Trayvon Martin.
She recounted the countless incidents when she has been racially profiled entering a department store; and also mentioned how many celebrities, such as Oprah Winfrey and Condoleezza Rice, have gone through the same. Goff explained how racial profiling towards African Americans affects all — both rich and poor.
