Festivities turned tragic after NBA playoff game
Oklahoma City turned into the O.K. Corral last night as 8 people were shot following the OKC Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers game.
The Thunder defeated the Lakers to advance to the NBA Western Conference Finals for the second year in a row, but it looks like a couple fans we're still acting like they've never been there before.
Police say that at least 8 people were shot and one pregnant woman was kicked during a melee following the game.
“Everything is very, very preliminary. We still don’t know the actual number of victims. We believe that one person is critical, and the other injuries are not believed to be life-threatening,” says Oklahoma City police Capt. Dexter Nelson.

According to additional reports, one person was shot in the back, another in the upper arm and a third in the hand.
The shootings capped off what has been a very volatile environment at OKC Thunder playoff games. Fans who choose not to watch the game inside of the arena are allowed to view games inside "Thunder Alley," an area outside with a jumbotron screen. Fights had already been breaking out after previous games.
“It’s gotten more and more intense every time we’re been out here,” said one witness.
Police have 2 suspected shooters in custody.
Perhaps they took Thunder guard Russell Westbook's gun celebration too seriously.
