Mexican Star Jenni Rivera Dies In Plane Crash

The Mexican music scene has lost another big female star.
Singer and reality star Jenni Rivera is believed to have died in a plane crash reports CNN.
The plane Rivera was traveling in lost contact with air traffic controllers on Sunday. Transportation officials say they've found wreckage they believe is the same plane.
"Everything points to that this is the plane," Communication and Transportation Minister Gerardo Ruiz Esparza told CNN affiliate Foro TV, about a wreckage site in the northern state of Nuevo Leon.
Since her 1999 debut album, Rivera became one of Mexico's biggest entertainment imports. She was named one of People en Espanol's 25 most powerful women in October.
Her personal life was just as popular as her music. She became a single mom at the age of 15 and is the mother of five. Her reality show "I Love Jenni" began airing on Telemundo's mun2 network last year.
She was also a judge on the popular TV show, "The Voice, Mexico."
