"Mo Money" Tax Service Founder Defends Against Claims of Fraud

The age old adage of Mo Money, Mo Problems works well here.

If you are going to get your taxes done, it may be a good idea to stay away from a place called "Mo Money Taxe$."

But unfortunately, a few customers went and got their taxes done at the Memphis, Tennessee tax service and have been complaining about not receiving their refund for 2 months now.

The complaints have reached the IRS Criminal Investigative Division who showed up at the Memphis headquarters of the business and left with a host of boxes. Now, Mo Money might be in Mo Trouble.

According to the IRS website, they investigate everything from abusive tax schemes to fraudulent tax returns, tax evasion and money laundering.

Mo’ Money Co-Founder Markey Granberry said Wednesday he requested the IRS get involved to determine why taxpayers weren’t getting their refunds.

The IRS did not confirm his comments or explain the reason for their visit.
