Parents outraged at fear teachers and aides struck in children.

A Houston teacher and her aides have been removed from their classrooms after they allegedly locked Pre-K students in what they call a "monster closet," according to My Fox Houston.

A 4-year-old student, Kelon Chaney, was reportedly placed in the closet after he laughed at another student who was sent there for punishment.

"There was a monster and the monster was going to eat me," said Chaney.

The closet was given the name after a book the children were reading called "After School Monsters."

The educators are accused of holding the door shut for five minutes while the students cry hysterically hoping to get out. Chaney reportedly cried so much he eventually vomited when he got home.

"You are taking a 4-year-old and putting them in a dark closet, and that's like torture," said mother Kelicia Johnson-Chaney. "That's torture even to an adult that is afraid of the dark. Who locks anybody in a closet?"

The educators have been suspended without pay, pending an investigation.
