And you can get fit at any time of day
Exercise promotes good sleep, according to a new survey. And it doesn't take much; just 10 minutes of exercise a day could make a difference in the duration and quality of sleep, according to the non-profit National Sleep Foundation. So it's time to throw out the old rule that you should never exercise in the hours just before bedtime. People who exercise at any time of day report sleeping better and feeling more rested than those who don't. They dozed off quicker and needed less shut eye a night to function at their best during the day. Additionally, sitting more than eight hours daily also had a negative impact on sleep. (Reuters)
