NYPD Kills Unarmed Teen In Drug Bust

Teen shot in chest, trying to flush drugs down the toilet
The NYPD tallied their fourth kill of 2012 after they shot and killed an unarmed 18-year old during a drug bust.
The teen, Ramarley Graham, was shot in the chest by officer in the bathroom of his Bronx apartment as he allegedly attempted to flush drugs down the toilet.
NYPD spokespeople say that officers approached Graham while they were in the middle of another drug arrest. Graham then took off running, entered his apartment, struggled with an officer in the bathroom and wound up getting shot.
What kind of drugs did he have? Not to infer that any drug is less dangerous than the next, but kid was shot over some weed.
"The cops told me they were chasing him. He had weed, and that's it," said Grahams mother. "Nobody deserves to be shot like that in their own house."
It has been a tumultuous 2012 for the NYPD as they've seen one officer killed, one beaten with a cane and another shot in the head during drug busts. So as you can imagine, they are on edge.
With their four kills in the first weeks of this year, NYPD is already near the halfway point of their 2011 total. Last year they killed nine people.
