Police Kill Woman High on 'Bath Salts' After She Assaults 3-Year-Old
She died after being hit with taser
Bath Salts and their dangerous side effects continue to wreak havoc on society.
35-year-old Pamela McCarthy of Munnsville, New York was allegedly under the influence of "bath salts" when she began punching and choking her 3-year-old son, and later attacking a neighbor.
Witnesses say that McCarthy tumbled down a flight of stairs outside of her apartment with her son in hand. When she landed on the ground, they say she began attacking the child. The boy's father wrestled him away from her. After that she chased a neighbor into an apartment and attacked them. When she was done with her, she went back inside, stripped her clothes off, went back outside and began yelling at motorists.
She wasn't done.

She went back inside her apartment and fell down the steps again, this time with her pitbull in her arms.
Police were called and when they arrived they assumed McCarthy was on "bath salts" because she fought them when they tried to handcuff her and the pepper spray they used had no effect on her either.
That's when they decided to use a taser to stop her. When she got hit with the electricity, she went into cardiac arrest and later died at the hospital.
An autopsy has been scheduled to the determine an official cause of death.
