Two Winning Tickets in $580 Million Powerball

The Powerball lottery has been won. The winning tickets--one from Arizona, and one from Missouri--correctly matched all six numbers: 5, 16, 22, 23, 29, and the red Powerball number of 6. The jackpot winners will have to split the $579.9 million grand prize; each will get approximately $289.9 million if they choose the annuity option, or around $190 million if they choose the cash option. This Powerball was the richest jackpot ever and the second-largest top prize in U.S. lottery history. (Examiner)
