Report: Gun Deaths To Outnumber Car Accident Deaths By 2015
Since 2005, traffic deaths have declined as gun deaths rise.
Bloomberg News has released a report saying that by 2015, more Americans will die by the gun than they will car accidents.
Compiling data from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention, shooting deaths are expected to rise to 33,000 in 2015 while auto related deaths will decline to about 32,000.
The findings are based on a 10-year average trend starting in 2005.
The report goes on to say that government has taken steps to ensure safer vehicles, but has failed at making policies limiting access to assault weapons.
