Robin Roberts' Mother Dies

The "GMA" host is suffering health problems of her own, too

Robin Roberts' mother has died. The "Good Morning America" host was scheduled to leave the show Friday to begin her extended medical leave and start her treatments for a bone marrow transplant after being diagnosed with MDS, a rare blood disorder. But she left a day early for to head to Mississippi and be with her ailing mother Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts who died Thursday evening. She was 88. Roberts tweeted just hours before her exit: "This morning is a memory I will cherish forever. Thank you and bless you. Sally-Ann and I are on our way to be with our beloved mother. X0" Sally-Ann, Roberts' sister is a bone marrow match. (CNN)
