Robin Roberts Tells Fans Her Blood Counts are 'GREAT!'

'Good Morning America' co-host underwent bone marrow transplant for a blood disorder
"Good Morning America" co-anchor Robin Roberts, in a public blog post, updated fans and well-wishers that she was recovering well in the hospital. Roberts underwent a bone marrow transplant last month after being diagnosed earlier this year with a blood disorder called MDS or myelodysplastic syndrome.

On her ABC blog, Roberts sent out "love, prayers and good wishes" to all who had sent them to her.
"My bone marrow transplant took place exactly two weeks ago," she wrote. "The only numbers that matter are my blood counts and they are... GREAT! My sister Sally-Ann’s stem cells apparently feel right at home in my body -- an answer to so many prayers."
