That Romney Facial Tattoo Was A Great Idea, Clearly

Man with campaign tattoo hopes it opens doors to entertainment business

Write this one down in the book of really bad ideas...It's taking the Mike Tyson face tattoo to a whole new level of wrong.

Eric Hartsburg (pictured below) endured a bit of pain to get the 5-by-2 inch tattoo of the Romney-Ryan logo carved into the side of this face. And now after Republican Mitt Romney's Election Day defeat, he told Politico he’s enduring a bout of disappointment.

“Totally disappointed, man,” Hartsburg said in an interview with POLITICO. “I’m the guy who has egg all over his face, but instead of egg, it’s a big Romney/Ryan tattoo. It’s there for life.” He raised $5,000 on eBay to get the tattoo, he said. His wife and teenage son were split on their approval. “My 15-year-old son….was all about it,” said Hartsburg, a professional wrestler, who hopes the tattoo leads to other opportunities in the entertainment industry.
