'Scandal's Inspiration Will Rep Second Woman in Petraeus Affair

Judy Smith, inspiration for "Scandal," is now involved in the scandal surrounding Gen. Petraeus

Judy Smith, the woman that Kerry Washington's "Scandal" TV show character, Olivia Pope, is based on is getting into what looks to be a very messy and high-profile real-life, um...scandal.

Ad Age reports that Smith will represent Jill Kelley, the woman based in Tampa who reportedly sparked the FBI investigation leading to the discovery of General David Petraeus’ extramarital affair.

Smith released a statement for Kelly today that reads:

"We and our family have been friends with Gen. Petraeus and his family for over five years. We respect his and his family’s privacy and want the same for us and our three children."
