Sex Robots Will Exist By 2050, Researchers Say

Report says the sex is safer and may be the norm by then

Business Insider reports that a new scientific paper is predicting that there will be sex robots by the year 2050.

The report published in tech journal Futures says that robots with human-like skin and features capable of performing sex acts is "very feasible." They say it will be especially lucrative for people in the sex industry who run brothels.

Why? Well, one reason is because it may cut down human trafficking and the spread of STDs. If people are paying for sex with robots, researchers expect for less people to pay for sex with humans, thus leading to no demand, bringing down sex trafficking epidemic.

The robots will also be disease free because they will be made with bacteria resistant fibers that can be flushed for human fluids between uses.

How much will sex with a robot cost? That has yet to be determined, but one, named Roxxxy, has already been created and was revealed in Las Vegas at an adult entertainment expo in 2010 it goes for between $7,000 and $9,000. 

The report also says sex with robots will be less stressful on cheaters because hey, it's not like they slept with another person or spent any quality time with them.
