Stolen Olympic Torch Sold for $200

Man sold it to pawn shop

The recession is still alive and well for some, including a North Carolina man who stole an Olympic torch used in the Atlanta tournament.

Estimated at $15,000, thief Brian McDonald took the hot item and sold it to a pawn shop for $200.

Not sure what is worse; him selling it for $200 or the pawn shop not really knowing the value of the torch.

McDonald is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday.
