Late last month, upon returning to his father's home in a gated community of Orlando, 17-year-old Trayvon Martin was shot and killed by a neighborhood watch captain named George Zimmerman.
The young boy, who Zimmerman can be heard describing as "suspicious" on released 911 calls, was only carrying Skittles and an Arizona Iced Tea he'd just bought from a nearby 7-11.
Zimmerman, however, who went against police's orders by following and confronting Martin, has claimed self-defense and has yet to be arrested or charged with any wrongdoing.
Upon hearing the tragic news, celebrities have taken to Twitter in an effort to round up support for justice of the slain victim and to express their disgust and dissatisfaction in Zimmerman's freedom.
Read their words above.
