Tweets Is Watching: Drake Responds To Common

But he deleted it right after

This week twitter exploded when Common finally went on record and admitted that his scathing track "Sweet" wasn't just him throwing wild punches in the dark, or trying to re-act his role in Smokin' Aces. But that it was actually directed at someone in particular. Who exactly? Why, the rapper that everyone loves to hate, Drake.

Since Drake is "not a p*ssy" he figured he'd go ahead and respond, kinda.

Just in case you can't read it, Drake subtweeted Common by saying "Platinum. Now THAT's Sweet!" Of course he's referring the song name and bragging on how many records he's sold in comparison to Common. Fair right?

But then for some reason, Drake elected to take down the tweet. But that didn't stop the rest of twitter from weighing in on this supposed "beef" between two of the most non-threatening rappers the world has ever seen.

In case you're in the dark in regards to that last tweet, word on the street is that Common actually upset that Drake has reportedly been dating his ex, Serena Williams. Not to mention Common also has a new album to promote.

While it's safe to say that we will not see these two take their squabblings into the streets, it would still be entertaining to see. Unfortunately, if Drake doesn't even feel comfortable leaving tweets up, he's probably not going to entertain Common's invite to combat. Hey, at least Drake's producer 40 doesn't have a problem going back and forth.
