The U.S. Navy confirmed Tuesday that it had not lost any drones over the Persian Gulf despite Iran claiming to have captured one. Iran even showed an image on state TV of two Guard commanders examining what appeared to be an intact ScanEagle drone, but the Navy has denied the report. A spokesperson said, "The U.S. Navy has fully accounted for all unmanned air vehicles (UAV) operating in the Middle East region. We have no record that we have lost any ScanEagles recently." The Iranian announcement did not give details on the time or location of the claimed drone capture, but said it did so once the drone entered Iranian airspace. (USA Today)
