4 Shot at USC Halloween Party

Suspect in custody, motive unknown

Four people were shot during an overcrowded Halloween party on the USC campus on Wednesday night. The gunman, who police believe not to be a USC student, opened fire on one person outside the party, but also hit three bystanders. The target is in critical condition, while the others have non-life-threatening wounds. The campus is on lockdown, as the school has asked people to stay indoors and not open their doors. USC announced a suspect is in custody. (LA Times)
