Legal team says they've lost contact with Trayvon Martin's shooter

Lawyers for Trayvon Martin's killer, George Zimmerman, said they are no longer representing him against possible charge, which have yet to be filed.

Hal Uhrig and Craig Sonner, who spoke outside of the Seminole County courthouse on Tuesday evening, cited Zimmerman’s reclusive behavior as one of several reasons for their departure.

Against the advisement of police officials, the 28-year-old neighborhood watch volunteer pursued and scuffled with Martin, a black 17-year-old Miami student, before shooting him to death, in a Sanford gated community on Feb. 26. After news of the case went national, Zimmerman was dogged by allegations that he racially profiled the teen. Zimmerman's father is white and his mother is Hispanic.
