Are Less Americans Being Born?
The U.S birth rate continues to dip to lower than normal rates.
The CDC reports that the birth rate has dropped to 63 births per 1000 women in 2012. That's a tiny bit lower than the previous year.
Researchers say this could impact our future labor force.
The CDC also reports that the average woman will give birth to 1.8 children in her lifetime, also another low.
Will economic reasons affect our future population? This might be the case.
Have you postponed starting a family because of the recession?
