Fathers, Your Children Need To Hear You Love Them
Should dads express their feelings more?
Children need fathers in their lives, there’s no doubt about that. However, they also need dads that express love on a regular basis and who practice love by taking actions that demonstrate adoration.
It’s okay to show that tender side of you. Most men are masculine by nature, so it can be a little challenging for alpha males to express love in a gentle way, often leaving those tender moments, like hugs, kisses and blandishments to the mothers. Nevertheless, fathers should aim to find a healthy balance between taking the virile route and expressing love affectionately.
Loving your children consistently greatly affects their lives in the futures. It has been proven that girls who grow up with dads who expressed love and affection towards them from childhood, even if they lived in separate households, become adults with higher self-esteem, more confidence, and develop healthy relationships. The same can be said for young boys who maintain loving relationships with their fathers. They have a higher chance of becoming responsible adults, great men of character, and are more likely to take the same kind of love they received into their own future families.
Remember fathers, there’s nothing wrong with expressing your love. Your children need it!
