Seniors Opt for Franchising Opportunities
Grandma and Grandpa just got a new job.
There’s a growing trend amongst older, retired Americans. Many have decided to start investing in franchises. Molly Maid, McDonalds, Doctors Express, you name it, Grandma owns it.
What is attractive to the older generations is the possibility to go into business for themselves, but not by themselves. Franchising allows owners to be a part of a larger company, while still reaping the benefits of ownership and playing the game safe.
There’s a 20% increase in people over 55 who are becoming franchise owners and part of that is because they have the funds.
Whether it’s Grandpa’s 401(k) or Grandma’s cash savings, grandparents are becoming new job creators.
What do you think of these new buying habits?
