Stop Praising Your Child!
You might end up harming them later on in life.
"Good job, honey! You’re the best!"
Have you ever uttered these words to your child for no reason? Then you’re probably praising your child too much, which can have a negative effect on them.
A recent study explored the consequences of praising your child too much without reason, i.e. without them putting in any effort, and found that children between the ages 1 and 3 faced greater challenges when they were 7 and 8.
The constant praise made it harder for them to deal with life and taking on challenging task. It’s better to praise the child for their effort than for no reason at all.
