Subways To Become Wi-Fi Friendly
The millennials have demanded, and now they are receiving.
Metropolitan Transportation Authority leaders are working diligently to making NYC subways Wi-Fi and cell-phone service accessible.
In response to the increasing number of young transportation riders, the service is expected to become available on all moving trains.
While Wi-Fi and cellphone services are already available at many underground stations in Manhattan, the cost to increase services is approximately $200 million. Of course, in order to fund this cost, riders would have to pay for the services.
