Jurnee Smollett

Jurnee Smollett began her acting career at a young age by appearing in television shows such as “Hangin’ with Mr. Cooper,” “Full House,” and “Martin.” The many films she has acted in include “The Great Debaters,” and “Gridiron Gang.” Most recently, she is known for her roles in the television shows “The Defenders” and “Friday Night Lights.”

This year Quvenzhane became the youngest person to receive a Best Actress Academy Awards nomination for her performance in “Beast of the Southern Wild.” She has received the New Hollywood Award from The Hollywood Film Festival. Don’t miss her at this year’s Oscars.

Children know her as Chyna Parks in the Disney Channel show “A.N.T Farm.” China has been acting since she was 7 years old when she appeared in “The Gospel.” She along with her two older sisters formed the group McClain Sisters. Besides acting, she also sings and is a songwriter.
