Jim Jones' mother chats spinoffs and shady producers
The Hip-Hop Socialite recently caught up with Mama Jones of "Love & Hip-Hop" and chatted about everything she, her son, and soon-to-be daughter-in-law have going on.
Mama Jones elaborated on why the family wasn’t happy with the LHH producers last season and confirmed that her son Jim Jones and his fiancee are getting their own show (like we didn’t know that was coming) that will likely begin filming in the Fall.
On producers manipulating scenes:
“It ain't 'Love & Hip-Hop' no more, it's called the 'Bad Girls Club.' That's what it looks like to me. So, they get my drift, and that's why I don't really want to be bothered. I don't really want to be on it because, you know, too much drama going on.”

On Jim and Chrissy’s show:
“Well I know it's suppose to be 'Jim & Chrissy.' They should call it that because I'm getting ready to come out with my show called 'Mama's House.' I don't need nobody else trying to take no family...that's what I'm all about, family.”
On the wedding:
“I don't know about no wedding yet, you jumping the gun on that one, but I do know they are going to have a show, and I already asked them, don't pull no sneaky sh*t like ya'll did before [i.e. Chrissy's unexpected proposal to Jim during season 1] because it would be very bad on your wedding day.”
If Mama Jones doesn’t appear on Jim and Chrissy’s show, I don't think she'll get her own unless there’s a super ratchet attachment, like the one Keyshia Cole’s mother Frankie tossed around about 'Hip-Hop Moms.' That would actually be interesting. Can you imagine Mama Jones, Frankie, Debra Antney and Lil Scrappy’s mom having a show?
