This should make for good TV
Another day, another celebrity signs on to do a reality TV show…Naomi Campbell will be one of the supermodel coaches for a new reality competition series headed to Oxygen. The series, entitled "The Face," will star female models vying to become the spokesperson for a nationally recognized brand.
Campbell will be joined by 2 other well-known supermodels who will scout and choose their teams from aspiring young models all over the world before guiding them through assignments including photo shoots, runway shows and commercials for some of America's best known brands, according to TheYBF.
Throughout the series, the celebrity coaches will mentor the model hopefuls through the tricks of the trade while exposing them to the very best photographers, stylists and designers in the fashion business. Only one girl will win. She will earn a real contract as the brand’s ambassador.

The powers that be at Oxygen believe that “The Face” will take viewers behind the scenes of the glamorous and fast-paced world of modeling.
Naomi Campbell herself said, “I am looking forward to working in partnership with Oxygen and Shine America to discover the next beautiful face of the modeling world. With 'The Face' the audience will get a real insider's look at this exciting industry that has been so good to me. One lucky girl will become the face of a major brand."
I’m sure people will watch this show but honestly, it doesn’t really sound that different from “America’s Next Top Model.” Then again, maybe that’s why Tyra Banks decided to fire her judges so that she could revamp her show…there’s just too many similar shows flooding the market. It’s too early to tell just yet but the description of this show sounds been there done that.
Will you be watching “The Face” on Oxygen?
